I've been busy

I've been very busy this past week.

Some might say wicked busy even.

There's been drinking, good food, sports, music, shopping, art, some laughter, new faces and much walking.

All will be revealed in due course.

Sometimes the better team on the day doesn't win

The team with the older players won despite many of their players being non-existent as players during the game. In the end luck and a killer instinct finished Liverpool. There was alot of huff and puff from Liverpool but no killer instinct to the chances they made for themselves.

They were gracious in defeat afterwards, it must be tough to be asked how do you feel just after you lose but nevertheless Liverpool's players faced he cameras.

Now the summer starts and everybody waits with baited breath to see how ruthless Benitez will be in letting players go and if he really will bring in players in the £15 million plus region.

It's evident that Liverpool need somebody to finish and to score goals with the ruthlessness and almost guaranteed efficiency of an assassin. Is there such a player out there...I hope so and that he'll be in red next season.

SHALL PROBABLY SULK FOR A WEEK NOW...Football season is over and Liveerpool lost.

WILL RECOVER BY JUNE 2007.

6 Rows from the action on 5th May

So I saw Liverpool play Fulham in both fixtures this season.

Liverpool LOST this one at Craven Cottage but did not bring a full team but the victory for Fulham meant the world for them.

Fulham won 1-0 and thus escaped relegation to which the theme from 'Escape to Victory' was blasted around the ground.

That film is one of my fondest memories of going to the cinema from childhood and brought the overhead kick to mine and the world's eyes and Pele.

It's Liverpool!

Let's go to Athens

Liverpool have now won 10 out of 11 games that have gone to penalty shoot-outs.

Reina proved that his penalty shoot-outs excellence were not just a one game wonder last night.

Funniest image last night has got to be Rafa Benitez sitting cross legged like a Buddha or a small child earnestly watching the television during the penalty shoot-out.

One of the cleverest free-kicks seen this season must be Agger's goal last night.

Sore loser and king of delusion goes to Jose Maureen for his post game interviewing claiming that Chelski wanted to win and played better throughout the match.

I watched the game at home either biting my nails or with the top of my t-shirt covering my mouth as this tense game unfolded.

I sat there urging Pepe Reina to save each Chelski penalty, I sat there saying each Liverpool player's name as they struck their penalties.

So we know that Liverpool will be going to Athens and tonight we'll find out against who.
