Not too much to say...

Well Christmas came and went very quietly.

Wednesday, I drove out to Brighton to see Song of the Day and had a good day taking in the seafront and checking out the streets and trying the pie and mash as recommended by the readers of a newspaper although the better meal was had in the evening at a restaurant as chosen by my host. There was also home made chocolate cake!

Not really too much to add apart from the year ends soon and then we'll see but I do know I am doing better than I was this time last year.

Oh and Happy New Year!

Last week

Last week...I went to Art School and made pictures under supervision for four days. It wasn't too bad but I had hoped the subject of 'illustration' would be a closer 'fit' to my sensibilities than it turned out to be. Ok, I know Rome wasn't built in a day and it hasn't put me off the idea entirely.

What else happened...I went to a Nativity themed party where they had hay in their living room and some people dressed as Nativity characters...really.

Also went to a birthday party where people were getting drunk.

Also Grandparents Wedding Anniversary Lunch, so last week was kinda busy.

I went again! This time they won!

Also I did the Tarot Card test thats floating around:

You are The Tower

Ambition, fighting, war, courage. Destruction, danger, fall, ruin.

The Tower represents war, destruction, but also spiritual renewal. Plans are disrupted. Your views and ideas will change as a result.

The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." You have been shaken up; blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.

What Tarot Card are You?

December

So November came to pass without it being the November that I'd hoped for.

It seems I've filled December with things to do despite not having any works Christmas lunches or parties to attend.

I shall endeavour to report on the things I do and the places that I go in December.
