Changes
The weather has turned after a pretty non-commital version of summer where the sun never really showed itself nor the heat that is associated with summer, a noticeable chill has set in and the leaves have changed colour.
Time marches on and with it no certainties other than days are moving on and changes take place all around...

I hadn't heard this until recently: if nothing changed there would be no butterflies.
I guess we'll have to endure the winter months. Unless you like them, in that case it won't be 'endure'. Until now I'm still completely convinced it is Summer, not much has changed.
it was not just you. here in New York, it rained 23 days out of 30 in June and it was pretty much downhill from there. The heat in my building came on yesterday and that is how I know it is all over now.
I shall have to just try to make it through to next April and hope for the best.
