This is why I try not to fall for people...its awful thinking about somebody that you like but knowing they're not interested in you is the pits.
Is it better to deny having those feeling of attraction so as not to feel the terribleness of wondering what they're doing, where they're going and wishing they were here by your side? You say her name in your head, you whisper her name under your breath.
You ride up the escalator and see a couple going down and you wish it was you and the girl that you want.
So instead you try to find ways to take your mind off her and in some ways you wish you'd never met her because then you wouldn't have to think about her.
On a positive I suppose it means I'm human and that I am not a cyborg without feelings.

oh that emotions were simpler and less painful.
that is such a beautiful post and one i can totally relate to.
human is good, definitely. such feelings are lovely to drift in, for a while. to lose yourself in the obsession.
but i've found that obsession is rarely your friend. unfortunately, i have no idea how one stops such overwhelming feelings.
A cyborg, ha, you? no!
Oh believe me, I've sung that song many times before and I mean literaly and not literaly.
Is it as impossible as you imagine? I wonder...
