Guilty Pleasures

Going to the movies during the day twice.

I like going to the movies when there are only around 5-7 people total in the theatre.

Yesterday I saw 'Brick' and '16 Blocks'. You can find both on www.imdb.com as well as me if you know who I am(not really that important but just blowing my own trumpet)

It had occurred to me to ask if anybody wanted to see the movies with me but in the end I opted to just go and see them by myself.

I enjoyed both for different reasons.

i love going to empty cinemas; that way no one looks at you funny when you constantly throw butter-salt on your popcorn. what did you think of Brick? we saw the trailer together i believe.

i'd go, but i'm in the states. wanna buy me a round trip ticket? you'd probably have to buy my b/f one, so he didn't get jealous. pocket change, right?

sometimes i like doing things by myself, though. it's liberating, in a sense. lonely, but liberating.

Hi FB, saw your hello to me at Steph's blog! I'm going to attempt a triumphant return to blogging, it's just been a bit nutty in the real world these days. Still, good to see you're getting out and about, and I'll try to be a more faithful correspondent in future.

Missy - Ask who?

Missgolondon - I got into 'Brick' and enjpyed it and thought the cast was good and its use of a real nothing part of California was very effective. You are correct we did see the trailer together...more movies are coming out over the next few weeks so I'll be checking on your schedule. OK?

kimberlina - Can't you buy me a ticket to the States! I'd be most interested in letting you order Dim Sum!

TRM - Aha!

Daybyday4-2day - Go for it!

I go to movies all the time by myself. It seems whenever I wait around for schedules to align for movies I never end up going.

I haven't heard of either film, but I'll take a look on imdb. I've seen you there too :) Will you be back for more?
