Mr Self Indulgence

Well, now it seems the PC is not playing up after a weekend of cutting off and crashing...I don't know.

I'm wallowing in my existential what am I doing? What do I want to do? Where am I going in life? pool at the moment.

I need to be shocked back into life or either I'm too afraid to go out there...I thought I'd left Limbo Land but it still seems part of me is stuck there.

I don't want to send out too many negative posts out there because everybody gets put off...its alright to moan but not to share it with everybody else too often or else they all run away.

I'm ready to start making moves to get out the house and to see the big scary world any body want to come with men and hold my hand?

Get a grip.

Good Grief.

Everyone moans in their blogs. My first blog was primarily a forum for me to moan about my ex. Don't be so hard on yourself.

I think that getting out in the world will do you some good. If you venture to the Brompton then send me an email and we'll have a chat and a cuppa.

Take care of yourself.

I agree with Stephanie, it's ok to moan! We all do our bit of moaning. Sometimes if I am not careful about what I post on my blog, that's all you'll read.

I just want to get through the next few weeks and should have some free time if you want company in town.

If you can't moan as much as you need here, I wonder what's the point of having this blog. So moan ahead, you probably have to!
I think I'm another one who needs someone to hold my hand but then..if I held yours, you'd be holding mine as well, right? Done! ;)

*hug* well, i like moaning.

oh wait, you mean the other kind. right. that kind of moaning can be good. but sitting out in the sun with a good book helps me. maybe some tea or coffee.

something where you can be "out in the world" and yet totally absorbed in your own world. makes it less scary.

You shouldn't or need not be concerned about being negative; you won't scare people away, just make us want to help out more and say things to cheer you up. Part of healing, both physically, mentally and so on. Really, from me, I say complain away..those you scare away are not supportive types and you don't need them then anyway.

As for the getting out; I wish I were closer and I would drag you :)

Okay Mr Finn... I am going to take you for coffee. Or a walk. And then we can moan together about things and then go and look at pretty things and take our minds off huge momumental life changing experiences...
Sound good?

It's possible to leave Limbo Land and still have one foot still stuck in it - it's a bit quick-sandy, if you ask me.

The important part is that most of you is moving forward. I'll just have to be the long-distance cheering section with Cathy over here. Maybe we can all have virtual tea or coffee some time :)

blogs are meant to be self indulgent, where else can you write about yourself, thoughts and feelings.

I almost see them as an online diary

Good for you, Finn!

I've been feeling the same as you lately, about the amount of moaning on my blog.

I need to snap out of it too.

If you can't indulge yourself, who can you indulge?
