Old before my time?

Am I in dress rehearsal for old age?

I move economically (slowly) at the moment.
I get back pain.
I get grumpy with cars driving too fast and cyclists running red lights.
I get intimidated by loud teenagers.
I don't like smoky pubs.
I quite enjoy galleries.

Should I be:

Getting invited to parties.
Swanning around town (London)
Hitting on and flirting with as many women as possible in bars and clubs.

The best thing about dress rehearsals as that they're rehearsals! You're still allowed to change the script... yes, definitely you should be flirting with as many women as possible. Although I'd hold fire on the swanning!

i'm coming there in christmas and you'd better finish your rehearsal by then because you'll show me around my friend.
Honestly no, this is more like teenage angst you are experiencing rather than old age.

Stop worrying about what you aren't doing and just enjoy what you are doing. :) By the way, are you a fan of Takeshi Kitano? His new film is on at the London Film Festival. Go see it. That's the only thing I'll tell you to do. :)

The important thing is to be happy. Life's too short to be worrying about what you *should* be doing. I say this as someone who went through a bit of a head fuck about turning 30. :)

I am intending to go to some of the films at the festival...and yes I am a Takeshi fan.

Picked up a catalogue today down at the South Bank for the festival and have ticked what I'd like to see...

Better book soon. I registered on the website so I was able to book on the 5th and some of the big films were already sold out.

Put £100 on my credit card for films for myself and friends. Ouch!!!
