reading is sexy.
This was the first Lethem books I read, and might be one of my favorite books ever. Fortress of Solitude is great too, but the way this book is simultaneously very normal and very strange appeals to me. Have you ever read the Intuitionist by Colson Whitehead? It has a very similar feeling.
I will look into the Whitehead book...
