Postcards and Letters

Do you still recieve postcards? Do you ever get handwritten letters?

Do you send postcards? Do you write handwritten letters?

Do you only send occassional emails to aqquaintances?

Is it weird to send a postcard to somebody who lives a 30 mins train ride away just to say 'hi, I'm thinking about you'?

When was the last time you sent a real postcard and not an email?

I love letters and postcards. I don't
send many though. In Greece it never used to be a big thing sending letters or even christmas cards. In high school i had a friend (still one of my best friends) and although we saw each other every day, we would exchange letters and cards. The last time i sent a letter by post was in August.

I got a postcard from a good friend when I moved this month just to wish me well in my new pad. My mum sends me handwritten letters from Canada every month or so. Its a nice treat.

I love sending postcards (sent one in parcel yesterday, but last proper postcard was sent when I was on holiday in June). I rarely send handwritten letters, however. Postcards are pretty and force you to be short and sweet.

It isn't weird to send a postcard to someone so close. Personally, I think that it is really sweet and thoughtful. Must get into the habit...

I still receive postcards from friends who travel. I would send them myself, but I never remember to take addresses with me. I still buy the postcards, intending to send them. I haven't yet embraced mobile technolgy aside from my phone.

I e-mail more than most, and always seem to be the last one to respond before communication drifts off into nothing. Is it something I say?

It is not weird to send a postcard to anyone. I have not sent one in ages...someone in my address book will thank you for this post.

Hmmm, I have recently been complaining about the fact that I write loads of letters to friends all over the world and I get NONE back!!! It's SO nice to receive snail mail!
