To walk this earth alone

 
Am I to walk this earth alone?

It is so long that I have felt a 'connection' with any of the girls that come my way.  I have too many female friends and aqquaintances but no lovers.

Then there are times where I accept this situaution and am able to move along at my own pace and go my own direction, which is not a bad thing really.

Yes there are times when you see the couples, the tentative new relationships, the first dates and you feel a pang of jealously but then you also see the petty arguements and the sniping and you smile to yourself for being free of all that.
